Cutty Sark Ship Models. The Cutty Sark was built in Dumbarton, Scotland, in 1869 and engaged in the China Tea trade until 1873. This ship model was built from the original plans. The details are unbelievable down to the metal scripts attached to the bow and stern. This model ship measures 16" in length and 17" in height. A very fine material was used to make this ship look fantastic. This model’s beauty is further enhanced by a special vanish to make a perfect finish. All decorative pieces were made of metal, contributing to the elegance of this ship model. Everything is built to the scale. Measures 22" long x 17" wide x 5.5" tall.
