USS Constitution Ship Models. Between 1794-1797 the USS CONSTITUTION was built by Colonel George Claghorn at Edmond Hartt’s shipyard in Boston.The U.S.S. Constitution, a three-mast frigate, is the worlds oldest commissioned warship. Built primarily with dense southern live oak, its hull was 21 inches thick in an era when 18 inches was common. The deck is designed as an exact replica of the original Constitution with all details. This ship model is shipped fully assembled in a wooden framed box and ready for display. Our ship models measures 38" tall x 32" long x 7" wide.
