The World Trade Center WTC was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s. Construction for the World Trade Center began on August 5, 1966. WTC was located in the heart of New York City's downtown financial district. On 911 2001, The World Trade Center WTC collapsed by the end of the day due to two airplane hijacking.
