Our Shipping Policy We offer various shipping methods

Domestic United States Shipping For Domestic shipping we use the UPS shipping calculator. All shipping rates are calculated based on UPS real-time rates. Transit time within the Continental United States is approximately 1 to 6 business days depending on item being shipped and to region of delivery address. We ship Ground via UPS, Fedex interchangeably as well as USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days)

For large and bulk orders over 70 lbs, please e-mail us with item numbers, quantity and delivery address for an exact shipping rate.

Worldwide Shipping (including Canada, APO, Alaska, Hawaii, US Insular possessions & territories) We can ship outside the continental United States on a case by case basis. Please contact us with Item numbers, quantity required and destination address. Buyer is responsible for Customs duties and taxes (if applicable) in importing country.

For international shipping, we use United States Postal Service up to carrier's size and weight restriction. Large and over sized orders are shipped as cargo via Airline or Steamship line.

Ship Models Due to size restrictions by carriers, Ship models are shipped within the continental United States.

Shipping Confirmation After you place an order with The Old Gift Shop, you will receive an email with pertinent information about your order's status. For instance, soon after you place an order, you will receive an email confirming we have received your order. Once your item has been shipped, we will send you another confirmation email with your tracking number. We may also send other e-mails about your order's status, if necessary.

Problems receiving e-mail notices and tracking numbers? Please check your bulk e-mail folder and Spam settings to insure e-mail confirmations are received in good order from The Old Gift Shop.

Shipping & Insurance Most domestic orders are generally processed, shipped and delivered within 2 to 6 business days via GROUND. Items are shipped FULLY INSURED via a tracking number.

Rush Orders We can certainly accommodate your request for rush orders via expedited shipping methods on a case by case basis. Please contact us with Item numbers, quantity required and destination address.

Packing All items are securely packed with either kraft paper, foam sheets, peanuts or bubble wraps. Most of the larger ships are shipped double boxed. All museum quality tall ships are fully assembled and packed in an extremely secure wooden crate which is boxed and double boxed.

Back Orders Although we make every effort to prevent shortages or back orders and to immediately remove from our online store those items that are out of stock, occasionally we will sell out of stock on one or more items more quickly than anticipated, thereby creating a backorder situation. If you place an order and a back order situation occurs, you will be notified via e-mail. A back order situation will not increase the cost of your shipping even if we need to split your shipment into two or more packages and ship the items on separate days.

Our Guarantee and Return Policy

Our Guarantee Our customers can expect to receive a quality product at a reasonable price, backed by our guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise upon receipt due to damage or defect, please contact us within 7 days and we will replace your item.

Returns You may return new, unopened items sold within 14 days of the item(s) ship date for exchange or refund. Items should be returned in their original product packaging in their original condition, not worn or altered. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Any exchange or refund will be for the original price paid minus shipping and handling.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your return package to the carrier, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your returned item (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. Refunds are credited back to buyer via original method of payment used.

In the event an item is unavailable for replacement, a refund will be issued. If we feel that our return policy is being abused, we reserve the right to refuse exchanges and refunds.

Orders Returned After 14 Days Orders that were delivered more than 14 days ago receive only a Partial refund if you do choose to return it. If you still wish to return it, follow our Return instructions.

Partial Refunds Partial Refunds will be issued for the following items: • Most items that are returned more than 14 days after delivery. • Any item that has obvious signs of use. • 20% restocking fee will apply. • Any item not returned in the condition it was received.

Exchanges If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please e-mail us with the order number and item number being returned.

If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, using your RMA authorization code, please return the original item (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Return Center.

Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all Returns.

Defects or Damaged Goods Returns Damage or defects must be reported to The Old Gift Shop within 7 days of delivery. We will replace or refund your money if no replacement is available. Shipping charges are not refundable.

In order to return merchandise, please email us for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number first. The RMA number received must be affixed to the merchandise in order that our Returns department may identify the item for faster processing.

IMPORTANT: We cannot accept and process returns without an RMA number. To request an RMA number, please contact us and provide the following information:

1. Your name and phone number (with area code) 2. Your order number 3. The item or model number you would like to return 4. The reason for your return (defect, damaged during shipping, shipping error etc) 5. If you are returning for a refund or replacement

As soon as we receive your information we will contact you with detailed return instructions. All return requests must be done in writing (e-mail or postal mail), return requests by telephone are not accepted.

If your item was damaged during transport, please retain the original packaging.

Once an RMA# has been issued by The Old Gift Shop:

Returned item must be received by The Old Gift Shop in a timely manner.

Must include a copy of the packing list, RMA# and reason for the return

Product must be repacked into its original packaging

RMA# must be visible on outside of shipping carton (not inner carton)

Item must be shipped to the address provided by The Old Gift Shop.

Item must be shipped via a traceable method to ensure proper arrival at our facility.
