Knight of Geoffrey II, Duke of Brittany

Geoffrey II, Duke of Brittany was fifteen years old when he joined the first revolt against his father, and was later reconciled to Henry in 1174. Geoffrey prominently figured in the second revolt of 1183, fighting against Richard. Geoffrey and Phillip Augustus of France were very good friends.Geoffrey was 28 when he died on August 19, 1186 and he was buried at the Notre Dame Cathedral.
